Sania Mirza along with her partner Ana Ivanovic have advanced to the second round of the women’s doubles at the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami.
The pair defeated Maria Elena Camerin and Tathiana Garbin 6-3, 6-4.
The unseeded duo of Mirza and Ivanovic will face another unseeded pair of Kveta Peschke and Francesca Schiavone in the second round.
Peschke and Schiavone upset fourth seed Elena Likhovtseva and Vera Zvonareva of Russia.
