Sania Mirza nominated for Indian of the year

NDTV has nominated Indian tennis star Sania Mirza for the person of the year award. Sania has been nominated along with 12 other prominent Indians.
Sania has had a very fruitful 2005, bringing pride and glory to both herself and the nation. She has achieved numerous firsts this year including being the first Indian to win a WTA tourney and being the first Indian to break into the top-50 world rankings.
